CMMS : Encoding

The CMMS of the factory GME software allows a quick encodage of energy consumption: electricity, gas, steam, … or any other parameter.

 

The Factory Systems CMMS has a real-time data encoding module.

It allows the periodic reading of many measurements and their automatic integration in the desired reports. It deals with all types of measures such as manufacturing quality monitoring, energy meter reading (water, gas, steam, electricity …), the recording of various measurements during inspection or safety tours, the miles recording for vehicle tracking, …

PRINCIPLES OF USE

1. Use for on the spot measurements recording.

  • 1st step: create a list of measures to be carried out using the management tool of the CMMS software. Specify the frequency and locations (if necessary).
  • 2nd step: assign one or more employee who will have the mission to make the journey (s) and to record the measurements, either on paper list or directly on tablet, PDA, Smartphone …
  • 3rd step: if the recording was made on paper, transcribe the values in the CMMS software.
  • 4th step: exploit the measured data: they can be directly transposed into graphs or tables thanks to the KPI’s module of the CMMS.

2. Use for measurements recording from other information systems.

  • 1st step: create a list of measures to be carried out using the management tool of the CMMS software. Specify the frequency and addresses of the files to import …
  • 2nd step: at the desired dates, the data is automatically imported into the CMMS software.
  • 3rd step: exploit the imported data: they can be directly transposed in graphs or tables thanks to the KPI’s module of the CMMS.
